Individualized, evidence-based, compassionate treatment
Is there an anxious voice in your head that sometimes speaks at full volume? Do you feel alone, uncertain, or "less than"? Or maybe you feel like you just can't stay on top of your life. You procrastinate and only get things done by self-medicating with panic? You may have habits you don't feel good about... you overeat, shop too much, spend countless hours online or in front of tv, or get too much or too little sleep. You might feel stuck, frustrated, or like something is missing. Or maybe you are a parent who feels worried and unsure about how to help a child or adolescent who is struggling?
You can feel less burdened by overwhelming emotions. We'll collaborate to help you solve or get through problems in your life as quickly as possible, with the least amount of suffering. You don't want to be held back by insecurities, anxiety, depression, or chronic health problems. My goal is to help you live your life in a satisfying and meaningful way.
I will incorporate research-based, effective skills from a number of therapies to meet your individual needs. Most importantly, I will listen to you, treat you compassionately, and hopefully laugh with you from time to time as we work to help you feel better.
